Pinpoint Games offer a range of media cards that are compatible with both the Nintendo DS and the NDS Lite. We supply media cards that use internal memory as well as media cards that have external memory.

Below is a quick breakdown of the cards we would recommend depending on your requirements:

Storage/available memory - Although we only stock memory cards up to 4GB Micro SD HC, the EDGE, iTouch DS and the N5 card will support up to 32GB Micro SD HC memory cards.

Homebrew capabilities - For this the R4 DS is definitely the most popular. It supports more homebrew applications than any other card available on the market and the R4DS team regularly bring out updates to keep your card fully up to date.

Best for small children - We would recommend either of the Firecards (8bit - 1GB or 16bit - 2GB). The reason being that they only use internal memory. This will avoid the possibility of younger children loosing the small Micro SD cards. It is also very simple to use and very reliable.

Reliability -  Pinpoint Games would recommend the Firecard and the R4 for reliability. These cards have proved to be excellent and we very rarely get reported problems from customers. If there ever is an issue, it is usually something that can be rectified by reinstalling the software which takes less than 30 seconds!

Coolest card - The M3 Real Rumble and the iTouch DS are definitely the coolest cards on the market at the moment. The M3 comes with a rumble pack which can be used with a lot of games and enhances the whole experience. The iTouch has some cool features that enable you to set up shortcuts to your favorite games and homebrew applications.
